I live down the street from Limbach Park. I have young children that should not be exposed to this. I will no longer feel comfortable using the park if the Methadone Clinic opens.

This is not at all good for our community. I stand tall when I say I'm proud to live and work in Monument! Please don't make me feel the need to move. The children, the schools, the retired military that make-up this town don't deserve this!!!

Definitely not a good idea. This is a sad excuse for a money maker that belongs elsewhere. To the lady last night who mentioned the point of terrible weather in Monument - spot on. This is a small town that does not need this type of business. The town will suffer and the mayor needs to pull his head out and see this. To the old mayor who said "There ARE ways to prevent this..." good on you. To the building owner who apparently lives in King's Deer and CAN reject the service. Please consider this impact to the community that you live in. Bad Bad idea. August cannot get here soon enough for the appeal. Spread the word Monument citizens.

The Mayor is a Marine. The town of Monument is being invaded by a Meth Dispensary that will poison and eventually kill the town. As a Marine his attitude needs to be "I won't let this happen on my watch." He needs to fight the invaders with all he's got. Not be passive like the town attorney seems to be counseling him to do. Lead Mayor. Lead! This is the time to be a Marine.

this is a bad idea. Town counsel should have been given a heads up from plaanning when their realtor questioned zoning for a methadone clinic. The intent of the zoning is for medical clinics, not a rehab clinic or treatment center. That alone should give the city enough clout to decline their company.

I agree that this clinic would be a bad thing for Monument. It would bring in a bad element to this small town. The idea of putting near the park is a terrible.
