Thee is absolutely no need for a mega anything in Bowie. The plans for such a rapid growth in the quiet communities will certainly overwhelm us with traffic, people, larger school classes, which will result in an even worse education system in an already horrible fiasco of a system

Another fine example of money hungry people. Like this area needs another church. You can bet a lot of people are going to profit from this and it won’t be the people who really need the resources. Why can’t we invest money in our children and people who can’t do for themselves. If this is approved the city of Bowie should be ashamed of itself

This development will cause traffic nightmares and us residents will have to foot the bill for the required WSSC sewer and storm water upgrades since the church is tax exempt

No new church. Church road is becoming hazardous with the heavy volume of daily traffic

I object to the Victory Temple/Redeemed Christian Church of God proposal. When I moved into the Woodmore Highlands community over 20 years ago, I had no idea that my community and other nearby housing communities at the time in this vicinity would eventually be impacted by current and proposed mega churches. To say the least, he proposed infrastructure will have a negative impact on the affected communities, creating traffic-ingested roadways on the 2-lane Church Road not to mention a possible future impact on property taxes for residents due to churches being excluded from doing so.

I don't agree with the church being built in this area. I have lived here for 23 years. The churches that are already in Mt. Oak/Church Road community do not reach out to the community and they pay no taxes to help our community.

This is truly a threat to all the things that make Bowie the best city to live in Maryland. And frankly the last thing this community needs is another costly tax evader.

I do not oppose churches, but I do oppose irresponsible development such as what is contemplated.

Building the church will be a good and positive impact to Bowie. People don't complain when restaurants or clubs are born built. We all need positive growth in our communities.
