As fellow shipbuilders here at Electric Boat, we the vaccinated and the unvaccinated, stand together to oppose pressuring, coercing, or discrimination based upon vaccination status. We refuse to be forced to comply with mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations or Covid-19 testing as terms of employment.

We believe that both mandatory Covid-19 vaccination and mandatory Covid-19 testing violate our constitutional rights. We also believe this coercion wouldn’t demonstrate that we value one another’s personal and private medical choices. These infringements would be in opposition to the freedoms in which we proudly work here at Electric Boat to support.

Reaching one thousand signatures serves as a quiet reminder of how many colleagues share these deep concerns regarding our individual medical autonomy. This milestone represents a collective pause to consider the principles that guide our work and our daily lives at the shipyard.

We have the choice to get vaccinated or not...the government can't force us to do it...if they force people at EB to get the shot or lose their jobs. they are asking alot from the people who worked through this AT EB not from home like scared little kids....

EB enployees have the right to choose, and this mandate is a huge mistake. You can't be more American than Electric Boat. And you can't be less American than a forced vaccination. Do the right thing. Stop the mandate.

If were considered Federal Contractors then how about getting Federal benefits??? If we were essential workers why are we about to lose our jobs of my body my choice. This mandate is illegal and morality wrong. Action needs to be taken to stop the madness

BATH IRON WORKS EMPLOYEES ALL WALKED OUT. IT CAME DOWN TO "WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO GET YOU BACK TO WORK?" NO VACCINE MANDATE AND THEY ARE ALREADY BACK TO WORK. THE GOVERNMENT MAY FUND YOUR WORK BUT THEY ARENT BUILDING SUBS OR DESTROYERS WITHOUT PEOPLE TO BUILD THEM!

As the father of vaccine injured children, one severely, I conscientiously object to any vaccine forced upon any individual without completely informed consent; especially when manufacturers are not held liable.

Just when I thought getting out of the navy and picking back up on my electrical career was gonna be a achievement, I’m burdened with my right of choice taken, choose money and a great career or my health…never thought the day would come.
