This is freaking messed up. It's like freedom of speech to wear certain clothes to express yourself. Look, I understand dress codes sometimes but either you have the code the whole school year or at least a couple months before. You can't just drop that kind of stuff on people

Pls take the 2-piece into consideration as this is so in style for 2017. I bet a lot of parents agreed to buy this kind of dress. As long as it is not revealing and does not show a lot of skin then it should be fine. Thank you, Flor

I absolutely 100% agree. Atleast give us dress code a month before

I'm doing this for all the girls mostly my friend, Tiera. She looks bomb in her dress and if she not wearing it to prom, we gonna have some problems. Love ya girl

Girls know what is okay to wear and what is not. It saddens me to see this because in my high school years I was able to buy dresses and not be shamed. The name of the entire game is the dressing up. The pictures and all, you cannot change the style of prom two weeks before and expect girls who have tailored their dress and purchased specifics for their dates to change everything

Waited too long to advise parents after $ was spent.

How do you expect TEENAGERS to go and purchase a new dress? This is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional of Kennedy High School. This dress code should've been put out AT LEAST a month before prom!! I will still be rocking my dress though so catch me there!

Not fair to student body. Poor job by school staff on letting kids know of "dress code" 10 days away, instead of at least 30 days before prom.

PLEASE RECONSIDER DESSCODE, getting a second dress in under a month is too expensive

The lack of responsibility within the Kennedy staff is disappointing and unprofessional. Seeing how adamant they are about abiding by the dress code, they should have taken initiative and spread the rules on dress code months before. Students with outfits that do not fall into the rules therefore should not be punished due to the neglect of the staff.

This is a senior prom we shouldn't be restricted to this rediculous dress code. Not even home coming had this dress code
