We, the undersigned parents of Jackson Avenue students past, present and future, and Mineola School District Tax payers, do not support the proposed bus loop on Jackson Avenue School's property. We feel that the bus loop is unsafe for our children, expensive and negatively impacts the aesthetics of the property and community.
We are requesting that other options be considered to maintain safety for all children as well as maintaining the green space that our children enjoy.
We strongly request that the Board of Education and the Administration of the Mineola Union Free School District make no decision until ample time has been allowed for community input regarding such decision.
