I have emailed Mr. Hughes about this and at home, I know it sounds kind of creepy but I have this email tracker and he opened my email 9 times. He hasn't responded tho.

We need this time. The adminsator might think its easy, but are they a student? no. Only we know the stress of today's society and keeping our academical score above an A.

I don't care if we have IXL as an assignment but if we have to do it twice a week and Amplify instead of working on our assignments in Advisory (which is the whole purpose of Advisory), then I shall put my foot down! GIVE ME FREEDOM FROM THESE APPS OR GIVE ME DEATH!!!

I am getting 6 hours of sleep on my normal schedule! This is not ok RRISD! A crap ton of studies show that kids our age need 9-10 hours of sleep to have a healthy body. You're screwing us over with this policy. I could be getting 8 hrs of sleep if it weren't for this dumb policy. I don't see why so many kids need to do this, even when they have really good grades.

A lot of people are sleeping really late because of homework. If we get the time during advisory to do our homework taken away, people will have to push their schedules back even more causing them to get less sleep which will eventually lead to students becoming less productive. Also, a lot of kids have extracurricular activities after school. This again shortens the amount of time students have to finish assignments. Advisory is a great time for students to catch up on their work and ask about any doubts they have on their homework. A lot of times teachers don't look at their emails after school which is really inconvenient for some people who have an assignment due but can't finish it.
