the district office just confirmed they wont be hosting those clinics after all. thank you to everyone who stepped up and pushed back on this. we should keep a close eye on things but for now we won.

Governor Kelly is encouraging public schools to hold clinics for vaccinating children against Covid-19. The vaccine is free and widely available from a large network of vaccine providers across Kansas, including doctor’s offices, retail pharmacies, local health departments, and clinics. For these reasons, we are against any form of inoculation clinics at the schools in the Goddard District.

Completely agree. If parents want this for their kids they can go to their own doctor. Keep it out of the classroom.
Schools r for learning not for medical procedures. Leave the kids alone.
My kids my choice. I dont want my child feeling pressured just bc they are at school. Very wrong.
Keep medical decisions between doctors and parents. No reason to bring these into a school setting at all.
This is ridiculous. Stop overstepping!!
