Can you explain why the charges must go up. ? Its a concrete building it does not get more expensive the older it gets. ?

We already pay so much expense to get to work anyway!! I am being discriminated against for having a higher band! It's still extra money I can't afford just to work!!

This issue really is infuriating, I park in the "gravel pit" which is a free for all most days, because I was only granted off site parking because I live too close to the hospital (6 miles), if you work shifts like me and are on a late shift there are usually NO spaces left, to be told exit, pay £2.50 and make your own arrangements!!. At 10/11pm its bad enough walking up alone in the dark but to pay this for the privilege, its an absolute joke

This completely rediculous.
Why are you discriminating against top up card staff? Why do we get penalised for coming to work and we also have to pay when we are off work ( salary sacrifice )?

i feel that we already pay more then enough for parking. the car parks are not kept in very good condition (several parking spaces you get out of your car right into mud) you are often kept waiting for a long time due to problems with the barriers and no parking staff available or quick to address the problem.

Other hospitals charge considerably less than this (half this cost at Treliske!). We were already penalised with a price hike from £1.20 per day to £2.50 because there had been no increase for several years so this was imposed in one massive hit. The staff who park here already had to fight to even be given a space and are now slapped in the face with this price increase. This is not how you show staff that they are valued!

Staff at Derriford pay far more for parking than NHS staff in many other NHS Trusts in England which is what makes it so difficult to justify. Costs can't vary that much so where is all the extra money going?

Who has made this decision? Have they bothered to find out staff reaction before imposing rule upon us? Perhaps its time to down tools altogether and not bother to come to work!

To charge their staff to park is appalling ,they do a job that is so important ,they should have a area which is for staff alone ,
