Derriford is ALREADY the most expensive NHS hospital that I have worked at (and I was a locum for 4 years, working all over the country)!! The position that I came from in Birmingham at Queen Elizabeth and Birmingham Women's Hospitals cost £12.60 per month. I could not believe that staff are expected to pay £3 per day in order to work......Talk about not feeling appreciated.

An increase in charges, yet no increase in pay?

for someone working full-time that equates to £20.00 a calender month, with the changes to our pensions we effectively will NOT be having a payrise.

disgraceful, £60 a month from a low wage is extortionate. No decent pay rise to come for years. No wonder staff who work here are fed up and unhappy .

this is disgusting. Some of us have no choice to bring our cars due to where we live. Why should we be penalised for paying by top up. What if you work extra shifts. I like to be in control of what goes out of my wages. The parking staff are not helpful. Go to pay at the parking desk to top up if the machine is not accepting your debit card and you get told to find another machine. Car park like a skating rink the other morning as carpark not gritted. Money making. GREEDY.

The staff at Derriford already pay too much for parking.they also work damn hard for every penny only for it to be taken away from them.

If i could use public transport and avoid paying any charges I would. How do you travel in for shift work when there is no public transport from your area. Staff have no choice but to pay I the background of no pay rise. Even further out of pocket. There is no consideration to staff well being or safety with the purposes hike in charges

A pro rata rate of parking paid is surely the fairest way? A flat rate means a band 3 pays the same as a band 7! Yet the band 7 pay is significantly higher.

I do not agree with another rise in staff parking penalising people that already work very long hours in difficult circumstances and are already demoralised and feel unappreciated
