Yet another kick in the teeth to the hardworking staff who often work over their hours for no extra pay and then have to walk a long slog back to their cars if they have no permit. This will have another knock on effect to the local community as people try to park in surrounding streets. As a local resident this causes big problems due to inconsiderate parking.

Please do not increase the parking charge as it costs us alot of money each month as it is. And it would certainly have a impact on morall.

This is just another example of how little this trust value their staff. To the press they boast about how we've coped under pressure and as an Emergency dept have won awards. Frankly awards mean both to me. Without a pay rise in sight or any decent staff facilities ie a separate canteen, not having to queue at break times etc etc this just adds insult to injury!

Why are staff being charged and penalised more for trying to come to work to care for people! Give staff a break.

Disgusting. I am not an employee at Derriford so the so called board should be looking a getting rid of any parking charges for its staff, closely followed by the same for visitors!

I will start looking for a new job tomorrow, there is no way I can pay £60 a month to park my car

Parking for staff should be free this is ridiculous to even think of raising the price rather than respecting and valuing staff and providing free parking whilst on shift.

Over £400 a year to park my car... The car park I use doesn't even have Tarmac, or marked out spaces for cars to park- my car has been damaged due to cars being crammed in, colleagues tyres have been punctured due to nails in the gravel. If there needs to be an increase in parking fees, then there needs to be improvement on the upkeep of the car park.

I don't have a choice but to pay these disgusting fees because apparently starting at half 6 in the morning, not knowing when I'll finish and living far away means I can't use any other (better) parking facilities.
