We shouldnt have to pay parking, we work hard. Night shifts the carparks are empty anyway so y should we have to pay now

Whatever happened to the 1% inflation rate?

What a silly proposal. Too many already park at the George park & ride, then walk to the Hospital choking it up and preventing its proper use and this will make it even worse.

It is ridiculous that we are being charged more and more just to come to work when our wages continue to kept below the rate of inflation so year on year we are worse off. We pay a lot to park everyday yet frequently the barriers don't work and car park is badly out racially when I leave work in the dark often late at night as I work on call.

I've worked at the hospital for many years and have watched the parking fees esculate beyond the rate of inflation. Many people work above and beyond often working many hours without claiming pay ment. I can imagine that these favours may cease.

I find it difficult to understand how they can charge the hardworking staff of Derriford so much to go to work.

Our non-existent pay rise does not cover this extra cost. We are short staffed and doing the work of 2 nurses for one, plus cleaning etc., saving the trust money! What an insult to our dedication and hard work, very demoralising.

We need to travel to work some how, and for some (due to shift times or where they live) public transport is not an option. But the increase could make it unaffordable to work at Derriford long term for some.

What for? Expensive rebranding to Indigo? They're in the blue whilst we go further into the red!

There are no buses dircet to Derriford from Ivybridge allowing me to get to work for 07.30, therefore I have to drive, with no pay rise, petrol prices, i will find the extra £2.50 a week or £10 a month difficult to find.

I can't understand why senior managers at Derriford Hospital treat their staff in such a shabby way.

Another kick in the teeth for nhs staff, we value our staff that's the biggest lie of all. They couldn't care a s**t about their staff
