It is to easy to squeeze the staff for more. Don't forget we have had a pay freeze and very restricted increases since, effectively negative pay rises here a hike of up to £3 or £3.50 is insulting and unjustifiable.

I am against this increase of staff parking for a variety of reasons but two of them being that the service we pay for at the moment is unreliable with machines not working and the barriers not working half of the time so why pay an increase for this. Also the fact that full time staff will be increased from £2.50 to £3 and are unable to pay through salary sacrifice/deduction for whatever reason are being alienated for this and it is stated - '• Staff who pay via a Top Up card to pay an increased daily charge from £2.50 to £3 per day. This is where the increase is proposed and the one the GMB has focussed on. We are proposing this because we want to recognise that payment via salary is easier to administer, easier for staff and ensures that everyone parking on site pays appropriately. We recognise this may not suit everyone’s circumstances and welcome feedback and suggestions.' - paying through salary will not make it easier especially if the machines and barrier are not working, how will it make it easier and for who?- this is not a reasonable proposal. I am sure this next point has been raised previously but I do not see how Wales and Scotland provide FREE parking?! and we cannot and for patients.

Disgusting, charging more money when spaces have been over allocated and people have to double park. I take it our pay wont be increasing to accomadate this increase :(

We don't have a reliable bus service in Plymouth to get to the hospital so many of us HAVE to bring our cars into work, this is just another punch in the face!! Shame on you!

I drive from liskeard to work so have no choice this increase is not fair my daughter also work here if we are not on same shifts which often we are not that's £21 per week. Not counting toll for bridge and petrol and wear and tear will have to think about working closer to home ice liskeard or Bodmin

Moral is already at an all time low, this isn't really helping. We knew this would happen when Vinci took over car parking.

I think it is very unfair we have to pay to park at all - the price increase just shows how little we are valued.
