Charging staff to park at their place of work is sickening especially when health care workers who already go above and beyond the call of duty !! shame on you !!!!

I am a student and would have to consider my job applications when I qualify: expensive parking facilities would put me off and not help staff shortages.

£ per day is disgusting let alone £3.50 a day. I may not be able to afford to come to work. Where do you want staff to park if you advise us not to park in residential areas?

It costs a Consultant and a Cleaner £50 to park pcm if, for any reason, they need to use the staff car park. Staff car parking is outrageously expensive to start with, increasing it is an underhand attempt to 'make' money from ordinary people's 'need' to work. Words fail me and there's not enough space here to outline the many ways this proposed increase is wrong.

This is the thin edge of the wedge. Please could someone point out alternative arrangements for those who canot afford this charge, especially when the job requires carrying sensitive data which is not permitted to be carried on public transport?

These new charges will only apply if you use the card & not deduction from salary. this penalises part time workers for whom deduction from salary would be more costly!

I too don't even qualify for a permit despite bus routes not being at convenient times for me to use (takes me an hour and a half to get home by bus, half an hour by driving). Even though I park off site no doubt when the other companies hear this they will get away with hiking their charges up as well. What are we supposed to do if we can't afford £65 a month to get to work??

Not fair, I remember when it was 50p to park. It all adds up at the end of the month. Paying over £50 a month for parking is outrageous, thinking about increasing it is unthinkable. Please do not increase the parking charges.

Staff are demoralised working in the current situation of the hospital. Caring for more patients than usual, there are less nursing staff on the frontline each day. No appreciation, pay rise. Constantly bombarded by seniors always wanting more and now you want more of our money? It's just wrong. Sort the parking out so that I can actually park my car when arriving for a later start shift, where I won't get penned in by other inconsiderate staff and physically can't leave car park at the end if my shift and maybe you could justify the increase in car park charges!!!
