Old Spicewood Springs Rd.

Building this hotel would be a travesty and would ruin the beauty of the area. This is a neighborhood area. Putting up an 11 story building in this area is totally out of place. Introducing more traffic will surely affect the area and environment. Our area with wildlife is so beautiful. Please don't let this happen.

Please protect the beauty of Bull Creek, such an important environmental recharge zone. Our sons, now 29 and 26 grew up hiking in this enchanted creek.

With the traffic already at overload on old spice wood springs road, this is an insane thing for the city to allow. At the very least, the developer should have to improve the infrastructure at his OWN cost, because if you let him build this thing, we will all be paying for his privilege to take greater advantage of the existing infrastructure than the rest of the thousand of us along that road.

Please do not allow this Hotel to happen!

I do not support this development idea for multiple reasons. The hotel does not fit into the tapestry of the neighborhood. This area is almost entirely residential, commercial based traffic on a narrow winding road is dangerous. Alternate routes to the hotel would be down a residential street like Yaupon which has an elementary school crossing at Blue Lilly. Old Spicewood Springs road is prone to flash flooding which could endanger hotel guests unprepared to drive through low water crossings. The hotel and its impact on the environment could be substantial. Furthermore, adding a development of such magnitude could be a slippery slope into more dangerous commercial development along old Spicewood Springs. The city of Austin should annex this property and give the residents of this peaceful neighborhood a voice and some control over what's built in our back yards.

This does ZERO to benefit the environment, neighborhood or traffic.. TERRIBLE idea and must be stopped.

Building the hotel near by the middle school, Cayon Vist Middle School, is not safe for the kids at school due to more porpulations from unknown resource.

As a resident of this beautiful area I strongly oppose the development of a hotel. This is a quiet, residential area. The traffic woes are already terrible with the pass through to spicewood springs rd. We don't want to add on to the traffic!

A hotel in this area would take away from the neighborhood without adding anything that would benefit those of us that pay thousands every year for property taxes. Traffic is already substantial, adding more only will create more problems.

This is an environmentally sensitive and fragile area. Adding the hotel would not only destroy the area but it would make traffic unbearable and disrupt the surrounding neighborhoods.

I am opposed to this development due to much more traffic and due to spoiling a beautiful area of Austin. A development of that size would totally change the beauty of the road.

This hotel will destroy the neighborhood as well as increase traffic and congestion on Spicewood Springs. The road has already seen a huge increase in traffic over the years.

I am against the development of the area.

If we are to keep any part of the Austin we love, we have to be smart about development--building in the Spicewood Springs/Bull Creek area will cause long-lasting environmental damage.
