Besides being an environmentally sensitive location, this is a strictly residential area. The area needs to be zoned residential to avoid businesses clogging the traffic and ruining the beauty of our neighborhood!

How can they build a hotel between 2 low water crossings?
This will bring to much traffic to our neighborhood.
And the reason that property was never annexed is because it is in a flood plain.

Property is in a flood plane which is dangerous to anyone habitating that area. I support turning the area into an extension of the Balcones Woods reserve. A hotel/trailer park would only exacerbate the existing morning and evening traffic potentially adding to further fatal accidents.

the neighbors deserve a hearing, and this area is really inside the City - it's getting City water and wastewater services; it needs to be using City processes

This is a thoughtless business endeavor. There is not the proper infrastructure to support this proposal, and it adds unnecessary risks to a unique environmental area.

It is a horrible idea to build a hotel on old Spicewood springs in the middle of an environmentally sensitive area with no infrastructure to support it.

It's inconceivable that anyone could think it's a good idea to build a hotel in the middle of a greenbelt, on a narrow road that is already overcrowded and routinely floods.

An 11-story hotel in this location would be completely out of character with the surroundings. Do the City of Austin and Travis County do any kind of environmental / feasibility studies before letting something like this go forward?
