Lots of other open spaces for hotels in NW Austin. This is not one of them. Development is inevitable but we will continue to "kill the goose that lays the golden egg" here in Austin by trashing beautiful natural spots like the location where they want to put this hotel. More houses there? Perhaps. But an 11-story hotel? NO WAY!

I don't believe this project is consistent with the rural and residential feeling of the area - I'm not against a hotel necessarily, but in this area a project using cabins or other unobtrusive structures would integrate better. Old Spicewood Springs Road can be closed during heavy rains, and can be saturated with traffic at peak times already, and enlarging the road seems uncommonly expensive due to the winding and hilly roadway and the multiple bridges.

This property is right across the street from a middle school and is in a residential neighborhood. This is not a good use for this property and I can't imagine that it would be successful there

No. No! NO! Do something about current traffic issues & don't create more where we can least afford it. This is a terrible idea & will ruin that area for everyone who lives/pays taxes there. Developers are ruining what's left of our greenbelts and open spaces. They give nothing in return back to the community they decimate. Just stop it.

Bull Creek and the park land near by need to be protected from commercial development. The fact that the proposed building is 11 stories is just beyond comprehension as something that would enhance this area. The traffic is also a concern for this area, as it is terrible during rush hour and at other times currently.

The beauty and serenity of this area is one of the reasons we and so many others bought our homes in this neighborhood. Bull Creek and this area should be protected from commercial development at all costs. Please help us stop this from happening.

The "Old Spicewood Springs" corridor is one of the few remaining wild spaces in close proximity to residential areas in NW Austin. Please leave nature there be. Do not approve development of a hotel at Yaupon and Spicewood Springs Road.

This could ruin the environment. Traffic is already horrible in this area. The roads cannot take a hotel at the location. If road capacity were to be increased, it would have a negative impact on the environment.
