I'm a volunteer on the adjacent preserves, and I cannot see how the preserve would thrive after such needless development.

A development like this should never be allowed. Spicewood Springs road can't handle the traffic that such a development would generate. And it would be an environmental diaster!

This is an important area for endangered species. Please do not consider adding more traffic and more infrastructure in an environmentally-sensitive zone. Keep Austin WILD!

I wonder why it is that almost every city in the U.S. has an abundance of beautiful parkland, hike and bike trails, walking trails, only to see it all get sold to some developer/builder to make a fat profit, regardless of the effect on the people already within throwing distance of these proposed developments! Austin DOES NOT need any more citizens and traffic, so why does council and county allow Austin's fine citizens to be trampled upon? PLEASE consider the content of this request before steeling piece and quite from those folks around this proposed site.

There are dozens of other spaces in which you could build. Please reconsider building in an environmentally sensitive area.

This is a horrible idea. In addition to the insensitivity to the environment and the hundreds of people who enjoy this area for hiking and recreation every weekend, this project is insensitive to the traffic problems on this road. There is a preschool just next to this site, and the road has no shoulder, frequent cyclists, and horrible flooding problems. We cannot add commercial enterprises on Old Spicewood Springs Road.

It has not only negative impact on the environment/habitat but also it will be costly to taxpayers when we have to rescue people when flooded.

Not a good spot what so ever. Especially for a huge hotel. It would kill the beautiful Texas skyline that I enjoy when I swim down in the creek with my friends.

Old Spicewood springs road is already one big traffic jam during rush hour. In addition, a high-rise will not only put more pressure on the environment, it will pollute the view.
