I cannot even begin to fathom why a hotel here would be beneficial or necessary in any way. There are few enough natural areas left in this city, the last thing we need is another one taken over for profit.

I find the possibility of a hotel of this magnitude in this particular location preposterous. Having lived in Austin my whole life, I am certain that the effect this project would have on the residents in the area would be insurmountable.

This is an environmentally sensitive area that needs protecting. Additionally, the traffic is already horrible and this road is shut down consistently due to rainfall, therefore this will cause more traffic frustration. If no one cares about the people, then they should care about the wildlife that resides in this area. I am not sure the location/land chosen for a hotel can withstand everything that will have to be done to fulfill their dreams. The boundaries of the creek itself will change over time and the addition of everything that will have to go into the ground to sustain their plans, is just too much. Please do not allow this area to be developed in such a harmful way.

The hotel project at this location is ill conceived and will compromise this environmentally sensitive area.

Traffic in this area is already atrocious. Adding an 11-story hotel to the mix will make it unbearable for the local residents of the area. As it stands, on most mornings, traffic is backed up from 360 past the proposed location for this hotel. The road is a two-lane road with no shoulders, and expanding the road would be costly and time consuming, and it would disrupt the lives of the residents of the area, not to mention the impact on the wildlife. This is one of the few natural areas left in our city, and it should be protected at all costs.

I grew up here and have enjoyed the pristine waterways for more than 40 years. It's one of the last gems left in Austin. They can develop elsewhere. Keep the area pristine!

Neither the roads nor the utilities infrastructure is equipped to handle a hotel at the proposed location. This is an environmentally sensitive area close to Bull Creek. It is secluded away from major roads.

I am opposed to commercial development on this site because it would be environmentally irresponsible. Traffic and runoff from parking lots would cause additional problems for roads and low water crossings and also cause water quality problems for the aquifer.

Just too many con's to this plan.

The traffic on this road is already at capacity for a 2 lane road and the low water crossings make access problematic. Not to mention the potential environmental impact.

This project/proposal is utterly ridiculous and should be stopped at all costs.

Why? I vote NO - and live in the neighborhood.
