Building a hotel on this site would be a detriment to the beautiful land and wildlife and to the people living on Old Spicewood Springs & nearby. OSS Rd can barely handle the traffic it has already and Capital of Tx Hwy cut off to OSS is continually backed up as well. There is no reason or need to have a hotel built here. There are plenty of hotels nearby. Please do not destroy this land by adding a commercial building here.
Thank you,
Joleen

When I got to Austin in 1982 the talk was about preserving quality of life against unchecked and mindless development. That goal has greatly slipped away, though not completely. Let's be mindful of what we allow for ourselves and future Austin inhabitants. Thank you.

Save Bullcreek and that area. There are plenty of hotels in that area already.

This is a non starter. Was the Prop 1 improvement concocted with this project in mind? There is no need for extra lanes, sidewalks and bicycle lanes on the Spicewood "hill of doom" other that the Board of Realtors headquarters and more development in this environmentally fragile area. Not just no - HELL NO!

Totally agree with the sentiment that an 11 story building is not appropriate at this site. However, annexing may not be feasible and/or the best strategy. I fully support efforts to stop this development (as proposed) and hope we can work with the developer to get to something residential and much lower impact.

It is ridiculous to allow an 11 story building on this site! totally inappropriate for the traffic, the creek, the neighborhood, the park, the environment.

There is already a line of traffic that stretches from 360 all the way back last Yaupon most mornings! This tiny road cannot possibly handle the extra traffic a huge hotel would create. Not to mention the issues that would persist at the low bridge there at the bend right where the hotel would be. It floods nearly every time it rains.

Would add WAY too much traffic and spoil the natural beauty in this area. Do NOT allow them to build there!

This is not the right place for a hotel. The natural environment, traffic and surrounding neighborhood cannot support this.

Tired of greedy developers f.ng up Austin. That's a neighbor hood with ranchets, so let's create more trafiic problems on an already congested 2 lane road. When will it end. Go back to California Ass hole!

I can hardly believe someone would even contemplate this in that location. It is a profoundly beautiful and sensitive right on the banks of Bull Creek. Totally inappropriate.

No to hotel here. The road and traffic around this area is already so busy around rush hours and rain causes frequent road closures. This is also an environmentally sensitive area.

We live in the neighborhood and NO HOTEL. Bad for the residential area and for the nature.
