Please do not allow for this hotel to go up in this location. The additional traffic, removal of natural vegitation and additional buildings is not what this neighborhood wants or needs!

It would be extremely IRRESPONSIBLE from a public safety standpoint, on both the city's and the county's part, to allow a hotel to be built on this road! SS Rd is notorious for its flooding issues. It has 7 low-water crossings that regularly flood, often suddenly, causing the road to be unsafe and impassible, and thus resulting in frequent road-closures and vehicles being swept off the road into the flooded creek. Knowingly and willingly dumping potentially hundreds of hotel guests, who aren't familiar with the area and the related dangers (as well as the employees) into this volatile situation would be ludicrous. Just a few months ago, one man, a resident in the area, died after his truck was washed into the creek. His body was found days later in a tree near crossing #2 - which is next to this property. I certainly don't think it will be very good for business if this happens to a hotel patron.

Development along Ols SW Springs Road/Bull Creek will further lengthen commuting times and cause further congestion for residents.

Please think about what is being done here. I am 68 years old. Where there were once open pastures and original forests, there are now skyscrapers in the residential neighborhood where I was a child. I don't want the children in 21st Century Austin to have to go to a museum to see a relic of a tree!

Bull Creek is prone to flooding, more impervious cover upstream seems unwise. I support the annexation to protect an already fragile treasure.

Are you kidding us? Have you seen the traffic on Old Spicewood Springs Road as well as the water crossings being sht when it rains just a little? DISASTEROUS MUST STOP THIS BUILDING PROPOSAL

Austin needs to recognize and preserve unique and beautiful areas such as Bull Creek from over-development. Let the developer find another piece of land to develop.
