SAVE OUR SCHOOLS
NO CHARTERS NO PARTNERSHIP NO CLOSURES
Presently several HISD school in under privileged areas are looking to be closed and converted in Partnerships/Charter Schools
How can we build communities if we continually close and deem our children un-educatable due to “standardized testing”? Why can’t the funds used to remodel some of these schools be used for resources and increases to teachers’ salaries so they concentrate on building the minds of our soon to be future.
What will happen to these kids 18 and under? This is where we start to encourage our babies about the importance of an education. If the importance of an education isn’t instilled in them early it will not seem to matter and have a lack of importance in the future.
Taking education from the community.
We need everyone to understand that we need to say
NO TO CHARTERS!!! NO TO PARTNERSHIPS!!!! NO TO CLOSURES!!!!!!

Children should not have to prove they deserve a neighborhood school. Parents should not have their rights to representation on the school board and clearing a school of staff and students doesn’t improve anything for anyone.
I live in District VI & HOLLY MARIA FLYNN VILASECA is my trustee. No charters. No charter $$.

I am petitioning to save our school in HISD. Our today government funds lot of situations and it's very important we use more tax dollars and the lottery to fund our children education of tomorrows. SINCERELY, GREGORY JONES
