We are not in favor of curbside pickup, and would like to see it remain the same as it is now.

We are lake owners who are 70 years old. We have a very long driveway with hills, and we would not be able to roll a big trash container to the road. We strongly object to the proposal to close the convenience centers.

Jane Linton, Lake Resident. Please do not do the proposed trash Curbie.. I can only see disaster with tumbling cans left out for long periods or trash along the sides of the road.. The convenience centers are working out very well. If this goes through we will know it is only to put money into someone on the boards pocket.. And we will find out the story..

We are both full & part time, w/ or 75 yr old Mother being here full time. It would be difficult for our Mother to get a full can to the roadside.
Also, we have an "Advance" companies can that sits on our road for days.

I know older people who live in the country about half a mile off the road. They do good to take a single bag to the truck...how in the heck are they supposed to put full cans in a truck?

What services are you going to offer the residents that are elderly and disabled? Residents that are not able to get a trashcan full of trash to the "curbside"? We all don't have short driveways, paved driveways, level driveways, sidewalks, etc.
We are not in favor of curbside pickup, and would like to see it remain the same as it is now.
