I really hope the convenience centers aren't closed. Please reconsider. I believe closing them would be a mistake, considering the number of part-time residents.

Huge mistake to eliminate the convenience centers as so many households are only occupied on weekends, holidays and vacation time. What will they do with their trash-leave cans on the street for maybe several weeks at the time?

We need to do whatever we can to keep recycle centers open especially for us part timers.

You do not have the support of the Rockville Community as we prefer our convince center & I can not imagine it’s even remotely economically feisable to come all the way out here.

Closing of the convenience stations will negatively impact all part time, high taxed, lakefront properties owners. There is no way curbside will be collecting on Sunday evenings & garbage cans will be left to turn over or blow open trashing the roads

I’m afraid that it will lead to illegal dumping in remote areas where people don’t think they will be seen or caught if convenience centers are closed.

What about senior citizens that can't roll the trash down to the road? Will they come up to the house? Some people are unable to get out and roll a heavy trash can down to the road.

Convenience centers keep trash out of yards & less litter on sides of road! No smells or maggots in garbage containers during summer heat temps, not to mention the convenience of taking Everything junk to one location! Please leave centers open!!!

Not only does this proposal create issues for household garbage disposal, it also appears to eliminate recycling options.
