Please be informed that not all Full-time PGCE students were part of the conversation and request to have the first SBE session canceled. We do not appreciate how other students went before us and took that decision for us. Every student registered knowing that we'd be going for SBE in April, why then change that to suit certain individuals!?

The momentum behind this petition proves that our cohort wants the full program experience as originally planned. Post this link on your social media accounts and email the faculty office today to demand that our SBE sessions remain on the calendar.

Going for SBE is very important to us, because it will definitely boost our teaching skills, helps us engage with learners most importantly is getting an experience. Some of us never got an opportunity to stand in front of learners, so going for practicals is our main objectives... What kind of teachers are we going to be if we still can't be able to teach??
It is going to help us to gain confidence second semester when we're being assessed
I knew at the beginning of the year that I will go to SBE in April and besides I have already requested school for SBE and I am accepted already, received every material and now this what am I going say to the principal are they going to accept me again if I say I am no longer coming how am I going to explain that
We have already moved from our residences to our places where we will be doing our SBE. We are not funded , we have already bought materials. This is totally unfair!
I am one of the students who does not want the SBE to be cancelled because going to SBE will help us with dealing with students
I am already prepared for it

I already paid for my transport to the school and my accommodation is booked so how can they just stop this now after we made all these plans???
