Cell phone companies like Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile market insurance for replacement of cell phones, but the hardest thing to do is to get the insurance company to pay. Asurion seems to be the number one provider of cell phone protection for all the major cell phone companies. Sales people market the plan with the assurance that your phone is covered whether it is lost, stolen or damaged (in my case with $0 deductible) and customers pay high premiums month after month. When it comes time to make a claim, you either have to pay a high deductible only to receive a refurbished phone or your claim is denied and you are stuck having to purchase a phone out of pocket. If you can't afford either option, you just have to go without one. The time has come for this type of business to end. Please join me in signing this petition to protest cell phone providers for marketing and selling insurance that does not benefit their customers. My goal is to get enough signatures to spark a class action lawsuit against Sprint, At&T, T-Mobile Verizon and any other cell phone provider who pushes useless insurance by Asurion onto their customers.

Seeing this grow makes me feel like I am finally fighting back for the money they took from my family. Knowing I am not the only one trapped by these broken promises gives me the strength to keep pushing for a real legal challenge.

I am looking at the signature count climbing and thinking about the hundreds of dollars I lost when my own claim was denied. We are almost at one hundred signatures and hitting that mark will prove we are a group that refuses to be ignored by these companies. Please send the link to someone else tonight so we can finally force a change.

I also lost my phone while travelling out of united states and asurion refuse to give me a claim because of no usage of data . I paid insurance for nothing .even sprint doesn't help and changing their statement when even i called .
couldn’t get my screen replaced due to a “shortage” ... this happend 3 times in a 2 yr period where there was a shortage and needed to get total replacement from $50 for repair to $200 replacement. THEY NEVER INTENDED TO SUPPLY REPLACEMENT DISPLAY/SCREEN that is a bait and switch
How can they offer screen replacement when I purchased my iPhone 8+ and then when I need a screen fixed they deny, deny, deny any "availability" of screens ONLY at the billing address area? This is misleading and fraudulent.
Don't honor their side of insurance contract. Once I filed claim THEY keep calling everyday telling me it was denied. They say "how can I help you to today"? I tell them I don't know YOU called me. Harassment, because I filed a claim.
I tried to make a claim after 5 years of paying $7.99 ($480 total) per month for a LG Optimus 9 and Asurion pretended to "give me" a LG Stylo 2 for a deductible of "just" $100. This deductible is more then this phone's value. This is ridiculous! this company is robing us.
My insurance claim was just denied for a charging port issue which will not allow ky phone to charge. Asurion claims my phone has no damage without even looking at it.
I had a z fold 5. I was paying $1920 dollars for It on payment plan. I had ins on it paying a monthly payment of $150. The phone was stolen and I turned it into insurance company and they said that I didn't use the phone enough so it wasn't covered. They wanted me to keep paying on the phone till it was paid off. I found the person who stole it and the person who bought it off them turned it in. The person who had it wanted a $1000 for me to get it back. I didn't do it. My ins. Was paid up.

I filed a claim with asurion on a iPad. Done all the paper work they sent a refurbished model. I sent my other one back to them. They claimed they never got it. Hit me for another $175 plus tax thru ATT. The tracking number they provided is useless
