We, the undersigned, believe that Livi Nitespot was the hub of social activity for the youth of West Lothian and demand it is re-opened for the following reasons:
- for a town as large as Livingston, its nightlife is appallingly little-league. I've had better nights out in Pumpherston.
- it will get young people off the streets as well as providing many jobs for the people of West Lothian: vital in these credit crunch times.
- it will attract much-needed tourism to the area of West Lothian and confirm it as an up and coming, fashionable area.
I have been hearing from so many of you about how dull the weekends have felt since the doors shut and it really validates why I started this whole thing in the first place. I am currently trying to track down the contact info for the property manager because someone needs to explain why a perfectly good venue is just sitting there gathering dust while we all have nowhere to go.

I never actually thought people would care this much about the old spot but the momentum is just wild right now and keeps snowballing while I am here drinking lukewarm coffee. It feels like the whole town is waking up to how dead the nights are around here so honestly just thank you for catching onto this thing with me.
