there should be leggings if this is what girls feel good in let them be them dont take that away from students who are turning into young adults

We girls should be able to wear leggings, jeggings, and yoga pants. We shouldn't have this rule because of our male peers. Because even if we don't wear any of those above we are still going to get looked at from the males because "boys will be boys" and we can't help that male are attracted to the female population. What's next?V-necks? Or dresses or skirts that MUST come past our knees? Who ever made this rule needs to get over the fact that the male population will ALWAYS be attracted to the female population no matter what we wear.

This new rule is absurd and unfair. High school is supposed to prepare you for the real world. Do you mean to tell us girls that we have to conform to what makes men comfortable even if that means giving up our own comfort? On our school dress code not only are leggings banned but also loungewear. This leaves our only options during the cooler months ,jeans. I thought we were supposed to be taught to be comfortable in our own skin and to never let men control nor oppress you, this sexist dress code is teaching us just the opposite and I'm disappointed in our education system

this is exactly the truth. I don't go to this school anymore, but they have the same dress code at my school and I feel it's absolutely horrible. we should be able to wear what we want & it should effect anything to do with school, test, grades, etc.

As long as private parts are covered, leggings and other "tight pants" should be permitted. This rule is totally absurd.
