The Department of Education finally confirmed they are building us a new school. Seeing our children get the safe environment they deserve is everything I hoped for when I started this. Thank you for staying with me through this long fight.

We the undersigned, request that the Department of Education and Skills, in consultation with Minister Bruton, address the unsuitable, inadequate and unsafe conditions that exist in St. Finian’s NS, Waterville, Co. Kerry. We ask the Department of Education to remedy this situation by providing a new school Building for the Community of Waterville.

I spent the afternoon walking through our hallways and seeing the same peeling paint and cramped classrooms that my own kids have dealt with for years. Behind the scenes I am busy preparing our formal case for the Department to prove that our current building is no longer fit for purpose.

I live in dallas,Texas my niece and nephew both attend st finials NS..I plead for a new school for them and all the other children attending Saint Finials. It's well overdue
A new school is a necessity, the parking on the main road and lack of space both inside and outside is a serious safety concern to all parents.
The school motto is "Dean do dhicheall i gconai, Do your best always". We implore the Government to do their best for all the children of Waterville.
Waterville school is no longer fit for purpose, no parking, overcrowded and no indoor facilities. A new school is the only solution to provide a safe environment for our children.
As the parent of a child attending St. Finian's N.S. Waterville I implore the Minister of Education to act immediately on this matter and give our children a fair chance to the education they deserve.
Lets make it happen!!

Current school ((built over a hundred years ago) served it's purpose but now it falls way short of even the minimum requirement set down by the Dept. of education. This is unacceptable - our kids, and future generations deserve better - we are their voice seeking to ensure that they have the basic, adequate and safe facilities necessary for their education.
