My own children come home smelling like the landfill every single day and it breaks my heart to know they are spending their formative years in such an unsafe environment. I have been spending my evenings in meetings with council members to ensure they cannot ignore the reality of our classrooms any longer.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that our community refuses to let our children learn in the shadow of a landfill anymore. Your energy gives me so much hope that we can finally secure a safe and healthy environment for the students who deserve better.

How is this still an issue in 2017? Kids deserve to learn in a safe place not next to a landfill. Do the right thing and get this new school built!
Our community is growing but the school facility is stuck in the dark ages. Need more space and better bathrooms ASAP.
Been hearing about this for years. Stop stalling and build it.
My kids go to this school and I hate that they are basically sitting right next to a dump everyday. The health risks are way too high for children.
The gym is a joke and the overcrowding is getting out of hand. Its time for a real school that actually provides a decent learning environment.

UNACCEPTABLE environment for little ones. The board needs to stop making excuses and put the money where it belongs.
