A Pro-Life Petition from the Citizens of New Mexico to Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and the New Mexico Legislature
We, the undersigned citizens of the State of New Mexico, petition the Governor and the members of the New Mexico Legislature to OPPOSE all legislation that would: 1. Uphold elective abortion up to the moment of birth and infanticide; 2. Force hospitals, clinics, doctors, and/or medical professionals to offer and/or participate in abortions; 3. Allow non-physicians to perform abortions; and/or 4. Remove legal protections for women, including consent requirements.
We further call on the Governor and the members of the New Mexico Legislature to PASS and ENACT legislation that would: 1. Ban elective late-term abortions after five (5) months; 2. Require that proper medical attention be given to a child who survives a botched abortion; and 3. Require parental notification and/or consent for minors who are seeking abortions.

I have not always understood how important it is to protect life of our most vulnerable. From conception to death. After working with women and men scared and facing the unknowns of pregnancy, after adopting a special needs child and caring for elderly grandparents and parents. I have realize from my mistakes and victories how amazing and valuable human life is and how when we treat each person with dignity even in the womb how it credits honor to us. Please vote for valuing and protecting life at all stages of life .
