The conflict in eastern Congo - the deadliest since World War II - is fueld partly by a multi-million dollar trade in minerals. Armed groups generate an estimated $144 million each year by trading tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold. We are asking New Community Jewish High School be aware of where the minerals in their electronic companies are coming from. We ask that they advocate for this cause by signing to buy conflict free products once they are made available to the public. Please sign here if you agree with this act and would like to support NCJHS in this change.

I have been digging into the supply chain reports all night and honestly it is so much more complicated than I initially thought but the amount of people reaching out to me about these minerals is blowing my mind. It feels like we are actually starting to get some internal whispers about the electronics purchases which is just wild because I really started this whole thing out of total frustration in my kitchen.
