We as a class we find our test questions are not consistent with what is being taught in the lecturesand thus deviates from the course syllabus. We were told by Dr. D'Angiulli that if we read the textbook and study thelectures, we should do fine on the tests. However this isn'tthe case as we have done poorly/ not as expected.
By taking specific lines and terms from the textbook, students are not given the chance to learn. Rather, they are expected to memorize pages from the textbook without the opportunity to show their knowledge on topics learned in class.

The tests are written by TAs based on textbook with no specific parallel to lecture points. The professor does not come off as approachable and shuts down questions about the way the course is taught. Multiple choice on tests is unreasonably specific without being clearly written.

I do not understand what I am paying for if professor is saying that his lectures are supplementary and the textbook should be our main source of learning.

The TA's make the test and apparently have never taken a NEURO course before...

The tests don't follow what is being taught in class. This class is more about rote memorization than actual understanding of the material
