To whom it might concern,
We write to you this letter to share with you our concern regarding the dcsn's final exam which ended the semester on a very harsh tone. The exam written does not include most of the chapters we have spent weeks preparing for (workstations, cycle time..), with over than 15 points related to the old material of the midtearm. Furthermore, we understand the need to test our understanding of notions, yet, some of the questions seemed too vague and random, almost impossible to answer. We find it unfair for it to be this way since we practically focus on main points in class and in assignments, yet get something completely different in the exam that we are not prepared for. It makes our work useless and our efforts go to waste. This paper has been written with a main concern regarding the grades that would probably be very low and affect all of us. And this is why we kindly ask of you to acknowledge our statement and improve the current situation as well as the upcoming ones.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of this petition and requested a meeting to discuss our specific complaints regarding the assessment content. I am currently finalizing a report that details the discrepancies between the course material and the exam questions for this discussion.

I had a 90 in the midterm. I studied for the final really hard but it was very difficult
Most of the previouses and the revision in class hinted the exam to rely more on math
Very true, this exam was most probably made to lower the class average and not test what we have learned...
Honestly, the Final was pretty hard and out of topic .. What we studied for had nothing to do with the questions that came in the exam .. We concentrated on the material that were covered after the midterm assuming that It will rate a higher percentage than the previous one ! Unfortunately what happened is the opposite! We really need a raise or something because It affeceted all our grades disasterly!
The exam was neither similar to the book exercises, nor moodle exercises nor previouses.

To whom it may concern, I want to inform you that the DCSN200 final exam was not really related to the material we studied in class. The exam was vague, I don't think it tested the learning objectives of the chapters we learned in class. Whats the purpose of an exam if its not testing the material we studied? I think that the issue should be taken into consideration. I hope that you will test us based on the learning objectives of the chapters and not test us about other unrelated material.
