We appeal to Nepal Government to establish commercial air flight service from Nepal-Bahrain-Nepal at-least 4 flights each week.
According to the “Middle East Research and Information Project”, total Nepalese national residing in Bahrain is 20,000 in 2015.
With no doubt, Bahrain has been one of the most preferred destinations for Nepalese workforce as employment opportunities and the flow of Nepalese individuals to Bahrain is increasing year by year.
Presently, an individual who wish to travel ‘Kathmandu’ have no any direct flight option from here. Alternatives are either
- To take transit flight from ‘Qatar Airways/ Gulf Airways’ (5 star carriers) which are not budget friendly or affordable to Nepalese individuals.
- Only remaining option as budget airlines which fly’s economically with reasonable ticket-tags but with long transiting hours & restriction on luggage terms.
Scenario was not the same as it reflects above.
- Bahrain Air voluntarily entered to liquidation process on the April, 2013 resulting shut-down of its air services. They use to maintain 3 flights to Nepal-Bahrain-Nepal on weekly.
- The ‘Gulf Air’ - the national carrier of Bahrain stopped its operations from March, 2013 for commercial reasons.

I wish if it's happens it will a great comfort for Nepalese people n other tourists who wish to visit Nepal on regular basis from Bahrain. It will also increase Nepal Tourism Revenue as they can spend more time in Natural Napal instead of wasting time in Air Travel.
Should be direct flight
Government of Nepal & Nepali Airlines Corporation should examine the possibility to start daily direct flights.

Nepal airlines regular flight will help nepalese residing @ bahrain to connect direct home country.
Bahrain has one of the best hospitality to foreigners including Nepalese, and this will also help many Nepalese traveling to the US and Europe, on the transits.

If only this would come to fruition, it would reduce the time spent to fly from BAH-KTM to half if not less and also increase revenue for our country.
