Neon Beatniks at 43 Glenlyon Road in Bruswick is a day trade cafe that wishes to apply for the sale and consumption of alcohol on the premises (under a restaurant /cafe license) in association with a food and drink premises, we would also like to display our internally illuminated business identification signage and amend our hours of operation to an extension of hours for 3 days a week from Thursday to Saturday until 9pm at night.
We will not affect the amenity of the area and are very conscious of being respectful to our neighbours, but would like to offer a service to locals in the way of a small local wine bar encouraging small business and cultural growth.

I was just organizing the paperwork for the council and realized how much I really want this place to feel like a living room for everyone in the neighborhood. People keep dropping by the cafe to ask if we can host jazz nights or just serve a glass of wine after work and it makes me think we are actually on to something special here. I am still waiting on a callback from the planning office but honestly the silence just gives me more time to dream up the menu.
