De-Aging Sigourney Weaver for a feature Alien film would coast a Sh** load of money!!!! Doubt we will ever see Weaver back as Ellen Ripley for a feature Alien film, cause Weaver is now 70 she will be in her mid-70's by the time they wrap up all the Avatar sequels.

Guess there wasn't enough support from those Fox executives at the time and that's why Neill Blomkamp's Alien reboot got scrapped at least that's the way I see it.

We will never get an Alien Reboot that will ignore Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection it's all over with done, buried!!! Time too move on. If they are serious about doing a Alien 5 - then do it without the Ellen Ripley character - I am so tired of people praising for Sigourney to return to the Alien franchise - she never will because she keeps coming up with excuses!!! Just let Ripley go and move on already!!!! By the time Weaver is done with the Avatar sequels she will be close to her mid 70's.

Even if they did Neill's Alien Reboot or Walter Hill's Alien 5. Ripley's story still ended in Alien 3 you can't ignore it, and Alien Resurrection was a lame goof ball sequel that should have never been made! I think Sigourney only did Alien Resurrection just for the paycheck, and just like Neill Blomkamp's Alien Reboot Sigourney would have just done this for the paycheck also. They can make an Alien 5 without Sigourney's involvement.

Here we go again with Sigourney saying the same old statement she made years ago; "Let Ripley Rest." - same old same old excuse it sounds like Sigourney doesn't even care anymore.

WE DON'T NEED SIGOURNEY WEAVER BACK IN THE ALIEN FRANCHISE SHE WAITED WAY TOO LONG. BY THE TIME SHE IS FINISHED WITH THE AVATAR SEQUELS SHE WILL BE IN HER MID-70'S. I'M NOT INTERESTED IN SEEING A 70 YEAR OLD WEAVER TACKLING THE ELLEN RIPLEY CHARACTER. RIPLEY'S STORY IS OVER!!! EVERYONE JUST NEEDS TOO MOVE ON FROM RIPLEY, NOBODY CARES ABOUT RIPLEY ANYMORE!!! WE WILL NEVER SEE AN ALIEN 5 CAUSE SIGOURNEY KEEEPS COMING UP WITH THE SAME EXCUSE "LET RIPLEY REST."

It pains me to type this but; Sigourney Weaver will never return to the Alien franchise. It's time to hang up Ripley's story it's over and finished. Sigourney waited way too long for a Alien 5 script. Now Weaver may just have rejected Walter Hill's Alien 5 script, Oh well.

Ripley's story was finished after Alien Resurrection. There is no need for a continuation of Ripley's story, and fans don't care about Ripley anymore, and Sigourney Weaver is showing no signs of interest what so ever of returning to the Alien franchise, period oh well.

Why does Sigourney keeps saying the same old statement "Let Ripley Rest."? - I agree though Weaver needs too stop screwing with fans heads. Weaver should do an Alien 5 while she is still able too do it. She mind as well forget about Neill Blomkamp's Alien reboot it's gone scrapped. Sigourney should reunite with Walter Hill and David Giler and do a Alien 5 and please the many of fans who still wants too see her in more Alien film.

Sigourney Weaver keeps screwing with the fans over the years with a Alien 5. Now she says "Let Ripley Rest." That's the same thing she said a long time ago during an MTV interview back in 2009. I've given up on Sigourney Weaver and this franchise years ago. Not interested in seeing it continue.

Please just let Alien die!!! The studio has dragged this long running franchise threw the mud long enough!!!

I am not interested in the Alien franchise anymore it's lost it's way, the studio really screwed this franchise up so bad, and what makes fans so sure that Disney will do a better job than Fox did?

Sounds like Sigourney is done with this franchise especially after the studio dumped Neill Blomkamp, for Ridley Scott's Alien prequel garbage.

I have given up on Sigourney ever returning to the Alien franchise, and Weaver herself doesn't seem too care anymore.

It's not cool Sigourney! that you keep turning down a Alien 5 script that comes your way! Many of us fans have been rooting for your return to the Alien franchise for many years since Alien Resurrection. Even though yes Neill Blomkamp's Alien reboot did get scrapped. It's time to re-introduce the character of Ellen Ripley to the world again for the newer generation of fans and the younger generation of fans.

Oh well, it's their loss if they never do an Alien 5 rather it's Neill Blomkamp's version or Walter Hill's latest version, and Sigourney Weaver doesn't seem to care about the Ripley character anymore, oh well, their loss period.
