Neil has potential in revitalising the alien franchise, and continuing from aliens and bringing a new alien film which stays true to the world of the colonial marines will build into a amazing film whitish Neil's talents the concept art says it all :-D
I was looking for to this film,was very disappointed when it got cancelled. Neil has a great talent fit sci fi.I also think he hasn't made a bad film ever. Do it Fox, you own the fans after what happened yo David Fincher in Alien 3. Please reconsider
While I am totally happy with Ridley's story, was Souray disappointed in Alien 3 and 4. Since their releases it has been my hope to see those scrapped and a continuation of 2. Please many of us die hard fans have been wanting and waiting for this.
I always felt extremely let down to see Newt go with absolutely no screen time. I have been excited to see what Neil would do since I heard the news for the first time last year. It would be another let down for this wonderful sequel not to happen.
The Alien franchise has been a major part of my life since I was very, very young. I was completely stoked to hear that Covenant and Alien 5 were being thought about, and now to hear that Alien 5 is likely not going to happen... it's heartbreaking.

We need a real alien's movie. Alien 4, the AvPs, and Prometheus have sullied the Alien franchise, not to mention some of the games save for the recent Isolation. Give us that unexplainable fear, the roller coaster express way to hell, give us Alien 5!
