Neill Blomkamp for Alien5

Don't get me wrong I adore Sigourney Weaver and the character Ellen Ripley, but I think Ripley's time in the Alien franchise has come and gone! Plus, I don't think she is showing any interest in ever returning to the Alien franchise after Neill Blomkamp's Alien Reboot project was scrapped.

I think Sigourney has finally given up on the Alien franchise. Oh well.

Sigourney Weaver simply killed our chances of ever seeing Ripley again for a feature Alien film. So long Ripley you had a good fight!!! 1979-1997.

Sigourney Weaver is committed to Neill's Alien script. I am hoping Neill comes back, Neill was the guy!!!

This was our last chance ever too see Ripley again was Blomkamp's project. This was scrapped by Fox for Ridley Scott's Alien Covenant garbage!!! Ridley Scott is also flapping his dentures again saying he is going to make a Third Alien Prequel. If we get another Alien movie it will be by Ridley Scott and know one else EVER!!!

Is Sigourney Weaver flip flopping over Alien 5 again? I simply remember when she did a MTV interview either back in 2008 or 2009 and she was asked about reprising her role as Ripley for a Fifth Alien and Weaver says; "Let Ripley Rest." So with this new 50 page treatment that Sigourney has that was sent by Walter Hill she said the same thing in a new interview "Let Ripley Rest." How much longer do we the true fans of Ripley want to see the iconic character again??? If I were Sigourney I would just accept the script the way it is, she may not receive another script years down the road.

I really hope Neill Blomkamp’s alien 5 is made. It would redeemed everything that went wrong with alien 3. I didn’t really care for the prequels. Some internet presses like screen rant say fans are more interested in the prequels but alien covenant under preformed for a reason. So if Disney wants to continue the prequel series that alien fans are not really getting with, it’s their loss. Weaver’s doing very good for her age. I’d love to see her do Ripley one more time. After all Harrison Ford is returning as Indiana Jones and he’s 77.

Can we please stop with the Alien Prequels and get back to Neill Blomkamp's Alien Reboot!!!!

want to see this film

They should let Neill Blomkamp make his Alien movie fans have backed up this project and not to mentioned Sigourney who has backed this project from the start!!! Let Neill make his Alien movie!!!

If Disney has half the brains they will get this made and forget about the Alien Prequels!!!

It sucks that we most likely won't ever see Sigourney Weaver's Ellen Ripley in a future Alien film!!!

The point is, if this is never going to get made, then at least let the fans read the script, or better yet Mr. Blomkamp should release more concept art, if this project is truly cancelled.

Oh what could have been!!! Ridley Scott and the studio killed off Alien 5 for Alien Covenant was pointless, it's time to movie on from the Alien Prequels and let Neill finish Ripley's story!!!!

The former executives at Fox were Fools for not giving this the green light! You allowed the 2 AVP movies get made, then the 2 Alien Prequels - CASH FOR GRAB!!! And the Studio still won't make this sequel happen????

I'm probably one of the only fans that still has hope that this will get made no reason why it shouldn't. 20th Century Studios needs to push for it to get made!!!

I'm still furious at Fox for not giving this the green light!!!

Sacrificing Alien 5 for the 2 AVP crossovers and the 2 Alien Prequels. These 4 big piles of trash was a crime against the Alien it's self!!!

Remember what Sigourney Weaver said about Joss Whedon's Alien 5 story "I didn't want Ripley to go to Earth because I figured Earth would be boring!!!" - Bravo Ms. Weaver. The concept for a Alien 5 on Earth also sounded boring too me also!!! And AVP and AVP: Requiem didn't help the franchise at all!!! Bring on Neill Blomkamp to save the Alien franchise - and Reboot the hell out of this franchise!!!

Fox was crazy for not following through.
