Neill Blomkamp's concept of an idea is brilliant, ambitious and a fantastic attempt to reprise the story of the most beloved characters of the alien franchise. The project shouldn't be shelved.

Surely getting to a 1000 signatures should be a walk in the park. This movie NEEDS to happen. Alien fans want a proper sequel not the crap that was 3&4. We want Hicks to unleash hell. Make the movie Neil !

Alien made my future and it should keep on making it. It designs the future of film fans like me. I've got all the movies at home and I am a collector of different releases. Neil Blomkamp has to get the chance making his own film of Alien. Give him the chance, he will take it - and make it!

I love the alien franchise and wish to see mr blomkamp's take on it and possibly future installments with the touch being passed for a new generation like the star wars series are doing. Please consider this and don't let a movie which the star herself and original actress Sigourney weaver said she was on board to do, get shelf'd.

Ever since Neill first teased the project, I have been greatly enthusiastic about it. Blomkamp's gritty approach to science fiction films like District 9, Elysium and even Chappie, could really work well in the Alienverse and give us something fresh and fascinating, whilst paying smart homage to the film's we know and love without dipping into heavy handed and overly excessive fan service, which could be a problem considering that Blomkamp literally has a desk with a model Xenomorph head on it! You can't get much more of a fan of Alien as having a Xenomorph head on your workspace 24/7.
I'm hoping that this petition succeeds because to see this project green lit would make my and many other dreams come true!

The Alien movies are iconic and part of the movie industry, they should keep them going for us fans who love and cherish them for what they are.
