Dear Board of Education,

We, the residents of Yorkshire village urge you to end the stalemate and negotiate with the teachers to ratify a contract that is mutually acceptable. We want you to keep our children in mind and also how the lack of resolution has adversely affected them. A positive outcome to the negotiations can still be achieved in time before September.

We believe in our public school system. We would like to believe that you value our teachers and the quality education they provide to our children. Enough damage has already been done. It needs to stop now.
