The object of this petition is to remove a section of Article I, Section 29, from the Nebraska State Constitution. As it states now: "Only marriage between a man and a woman shall be valid or recognized in Nebraska. The unting of two persons of the same sex in a civil union, domestic partnership, or other similar same-sex relationship shall not be valid or recognized in Nebraska."

My brother deserves to get married in his own state. Sick of having to travel just for a ceremony.
Freedom includes everyone. Not just who the state approves of.
FINALLY. Keep government out of our personal lives for once.
About time nebraska caught up with the rest of the country.
Its long past time we join the 21st century. Love is love.
