This is an outrage! Starbucks does not understand anything about what makes La Boulange special: it's the atmosphere and the care people take to make great food. I loved La Boulange, I loath Starbuck and will never set a foot there ever again.

One of the few excellent places in the Bay Area. We visit "La Boulagne" each time we see one, for a pastry if not for a meal !

This is the kind of thing that makes people feel that Starbucks is evil- take a business everyone loves, buy it, then throw it in the trash with no regard for the customers because they got what they needed. They should find a buyer for the cafes, not close them!

Starbucks should sell the chain instead of dismantling it. This isn't right! They are always full and they were doing great till Starbucks moved in and took them over.

I love La Boulange in Lafayette! It is a wonderful place to eat and to meet friends. My French club meets there and I will be so sad if it closes!

Du bon pain, des bonnes viennoiseries, de bonnes salades, un petit coin de Paris et d'ailleurs...Bonne ambiance. Et très bonnes galettes des rois, bien sûr ! Victime de la brutalité du capitalisme.

Triste qu'ils ferment la Boulange, encore plus qu'on puisse utiliser le "JE SUIS" pour une cause pareille. C'est franchement indécent.
