We the people of North Dundas want our township to be declared a “no industrial wind turbine zone”.  We do not want industrial wind turbines in our community.  We want our council to pass this motion and tell our provincial government and the wind turbine companies that they are not welcome here.

Updates

September 20, 2012

The scale of recent support has prompted a formal request for a meeting with the township council members. Legal counsel is now reviewing our petition data to ensure our request for a no industrial wind turbine zone is presented accurately at the upcoming hearing.

Property values are going to tank. Why are we letting them ruin our view and our health?

We already said no. Why are they still trying to push this through? Listen to the residents for once.

Enough is enough. These things are eyesores and nobody wants them in our backyard. Keep these massive metal towers away from our homes.

My family moved out here for the peace and quiet not to look at spinning blades and listen to that constant buzzing noise. Council needs to wake up and listen to us.
