Students Against Tuition Increase
Amidst deepening economic recession, many of us can no longer afford to suffer yet another tuition increase here at NC State University. The sources for student funding are facing reduced hours, increased workloads, cuts in services and layoffs. Our choices in class selection is growing smaller while the classes inversely grow larger despite tuition and mandatory fees increasing 59.7% between the Fall of 2001 and Spring of this year. As this crisis deepens, we can only expect these cutbacks to increase as the education budget is stripped. Our work load is only surpassed by our ever-growing debts. Demand that tuition and fees be frozen at its current level of $2,637 for in-state students and $8,786 for out-of state. PLEASE USE UNITY EMAIL ADDRESS TO VERIFY!
