There are no laws governing the amount of narcotics that is legal to have in your system while driving a motor vehicle. This petition is to protect pain management patients from being arrested for DUI's or other laws if they are using their medication as prescribed, as well as keeping people off of road who are abusing their narcotic medication. Alcohol consumption is governed by a percentage of alcohol to blood ratio; which is what we need for narcotic use as well. Please sign this petition to get a bill enacted to set a level of narcotics to blood ratio, so that we can regulate this growing problem and protect people's rights.
