Very fitting considering how without Laura I would have never even stayed up to date with the ferry situation. She deserves it wholeheartedly.

This woman was so passionate that our peninsula have a ferry service, that she rode it everyday. she talked about what a wonderful big it would be to have permanent service to anyone she came in contact with. She did all of this just to do her part in helping Rockaway obtain something that is decades overdue. If anyone deserves a dock landing named after them, it is Laure Deckelman!
