I'm a born & raised Rockaway girl & my family has roots there, going back to the early 1900's. I know Laura Deckelman & her tireless efforts on behalf of the Rockaway Ferry should not go unnoticed. It would be wonderful for you to bestow this honor on her.

I was a Rockaway resident from 1961-2006! I went to far Rockaway high school with Laura and feel, for all her efforts, the dock should be named in her honor!!!
