History making Coach Moffett is a 4-Time State Champion, 150+ game winning, 20 years as Head Football Coach, 30 years with football program overall and 25 years as a staff member at HVT.
We believe this is an Easy Decision and a fitting tribute to a coach who is a devoted father and husband and gives so much to the community and school. As a result, Family, Friends, and Fans of Coach Moffett and HVT are launching a campaign to name HVT football field after Frank Moffett to honor his longtime commitment to the success of young people at Hodgson and the local community.

Coach Moffett is the heart and soul of Hodgson Football. He built a legacy, and a winning tradition. It is only right that the field be named in his honor!
The wins came easy once he established the culture. Coach created a place of unconditional love and support in which his players thrived. The stadium should be named in his honor as a representation of that.
Coach deserves the new stadium named after him he’s put in hard work and time he’s dedicated to his players he’s put HVT in football greatness in Delaware I personally played for HVT on the very 1st football team at HVT in 1985 and I’m proud every time I see those state championship banners inside the gym and Coach made HVT a football powerhouse he deserves his flowers!!
I would fly back from LA for this, coach not only was a mentor on the field but also off the field. Regardless wether you started or a star, this man was a gift from God. He deserves a statue
Frank Moffett is an Icon. His name is synonymous with football in the state of Delaware. He created a winning culture, on and off the field. To his players, he’s an advocate and mentor who makes himself available when needed. Frank is a dedicated family man, and community leader. Hodgson should be honored to have him lend his name to their stadium!

I played against him from 07 season to 10 season. Pencader Titans- one thing i will say during that time he showed how to bring his team together. Especially 09 playoffs when they were down and came back to beat us. He is one of the best to do it
