It’s great to honor those who’ve contributed so much to our own Katy High School. Bo and Pat Williamson are such a pair, having been part of KHS for 59 years - Bo in theater and debate and Pat in social studies and Brigade.

been spending a lot of time lately just looking back through stories about bo and pat and it is clear how much they meant to so many people. i am putting together a packet of these memories to show the school board exactly why this name belongs on the building. their legacy really is something special.

I would be honored to have my parents named for Elementary School No. 47. They have both been outstanding members of the Katy Community positively impacting the lives of so many in Katy.
As a former KHS guidance counselor who worked with Pat for years I am thrilled that a school could be named for her and Bo. She is very deserving as a dedicated teacher who leaves a lasting legacy.
The Williamsons deserve to have the schoolnamed after them. They are the reason I wanted to go to school every day. Mr. Williamson had a profound impact on my life as I had him for speech and drama all through high school.
I had Pat Williamson for English and annual staff at Katy Junior High. She was a fantastic teacher. I did not take drama class, but Bo Williamson guided my best friend Tal Lostracco to be a drama teacher at high schools and college, as well as my friend Lanell Pena and Renee Zellwegger.
Pat and Bo were what education needs. Their dedication to their students was enhanced by their abilities to impart knowledge. What better way to honor them than naming a school that will attest to their dedication. As an educator myself for over 30 years I am privileged to honor these colleagues in our profession by urging a school be honored with their names.
Mr. and Mrs. Williamson made a positive impact in so many peoples lives. My most sincere wish is that there is a school named in their honor.

Mrs. Williamson was my freshman history teacher at KHS. I have always adored history and loved being in her class! I was also on Brigade for 3 years and enjoyed hearing her stories of her time as the KBBC director. I am now a history teacher in KISD thanks to my amazing Social Studies teachers like Mrs. Williamson.
