a better Seattle Citizen would be hard to name or find. He is missed and should be honored.
There are plenty of streets named after less deserving individuals. Time to remedy that...
I spent many enjoyable hours growing up watching JP Patches and Gertrude. I considered myself a Patches Pal!
J.P. Patches should have a MAJOR street named after him, and then Gertrude should have the next street named after him. They ARE Seattle.
I and my daughter enjoyed JP growing up. It's great to have a street named after him.
Yes do this! From a former longtime Western Washington now living in Spokane.

Also, what happened to JPs official web site? I realize the talented Mr. Weddes is no longer amongst us. However, I still like to go back to that site and visit the store.
